About the Creator

“I didn’t grow up seeing stories like this—where men cry, smoke together, grieve together, and still get to be powerful.”

Hi, I’m Luther Hart—writer, witchy storyteller, and the creator of The AFEW, a supernatural drama series where elemental magic, masculine vulnerability, and ritual smoke collide.

I didn’t grow up seeing stories like this—where men cry, smoke together, grieve together, and still get to be powerful. The AFEW was born out of that gap. It's my love letter to the ones who didn’t know they were allowed to break down and still become something powerful.

I’ve worked in restaurants, led teams, wiped tables, and lived through burnout. I’ve lost things I thought I’d never get back—sanity, self-worth, stability—and rebuilt through ritual. Through reflection. Through smoke.

I’ve been the one who ran from himself. The one who shapeshifted to fit. I’ve been all four of these characters. This story isn’t therapy—it’s healing.

Marijuana isn’t a gimmick here. It’s sacred. I believe in softness as strength. In magic as metaphor. In chosen family as survival. And in telling stories that leave a mark like a burn—quiet, slow, and permanent.

Currently seeking representation. Open to collaboration. Let’s bring the smoke to screen.
